| Common Duct Stones (stones that are passed from gall bladder into the main bile duct producing obstruction with infection and jaundice) |

Open main bile duct and remove stones. |

SIDE EFFECTS - None. COMPLICATIONS - Bleeding or leakage of bile at site of surgery. Also, failure to remove stones laparoscopically thereby requiring exploring through large incision. |
